We asked him to share his must-haves for a gorgeous, livable bathroom:
Master bathrooms have become both showpieces and pampering sanctuaries, a place where clients are often willing to splurge. Why do you think this space has become so important?
Our own quiet time has become so much more precious as life has become busier and we develop as a 24 hour society. Bathrooms are the one space not invaded by social media, screens, news, emails, phones or other people- making them a daily haven from the outside world.
What are your 5 must-haves for a luxury master bathroom?

A decent bathroom set.

Lighting (high, mid and low level all considered).

Both an overhead waterfall and hand-held shower in the master cubic.

Water quality: Soft, consistently hot and steady pressure are all key.

Heated floor, the ultimate.
What stays out on the countertop and what must be put away? Do you have a display or organizational go-to?
Hide Away: All branded canisters and tubes.
Leave Out: Anything that feels like a little luxury- liquid hand soap, hand cream, candles, bath salts…
Powder rooms can make an outsized impression on guests. They also give guests a rare opportunity to notice details without being observed. Does that affect your design choices for powder rooms?
Yes, a powder room should always be much more of a statement. It’s a great place to have fun with design and is also the perfect place to incorporate rare, luxe materials as it requires smaller quantities allowing you to splash out on onyx, marble or mosaics.
What’s the best way to create ambiance in a bathroom?
I like to make a bathroom feel like a room using upholstery, side tables and soft atmospheric lighting.
